Aside from the constant threat of violence inflicted on you by your family’s enemies, Italian mobsters seem like they’d make awesome uncles.
At no point did I think this movie moved too slowly or that the final cut was too long. I did giggle and gasp and feel nostalgic for a culture and family I don’t belong to — all signs pointing to it being an absolute banger. Strangely enough, this movie reminded me of I’m Still Here in how it was shot, especially the first half
favorite line: “Don’t take sides with anyone against the family again. Ever.” or the instant classic “I made him a deal too good to refuse”
