its been a hot minute since i have watched a horror film, i saw this and gogglebox (that show is so funny) and i had to watch it because it looked so good !!

is it normal if i am scared because the dates (not the year) are so close to my birthday and it passes my brothers birthday that makes it 10000 times more scarier for me

micah is certified girlfriend hater, you did everything your girlfriend told you not to do like with that ouija board you PROMISED her you would not interact with that and what did you do ?? went and interacted with it that's probably when it got like severly bad

ending kinda threw me off, mostly because i already saw it on gogglebox but also because i thought they built up so much suspense during the other 80 minutes they could've had a traumatising, horrifying scene. am i weird for wanting that ?? 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ other then that really don't have anything bad to say about it 😁😁😁 the way it is planned out so carefully and accurately is so fenominal and it makes it seem so realistic

even though they leave the door open to capture footage from outside the bedroom, CLOSE THE FUCKING BEDROOM DOOR !!!!!

I watched Paranormal Activity to get spooked, and unfortunately there was a severe lack of spooks. It was also kinda hard to get into a scary mindset when Micah was being such a bitch. Truly one of the most annoying film characters I've ever seen. The build-up towards the end wasn't great either, because the 'scary' occurrences just felt a little cliché. I do like the found footage/documentary style, though, and I think maybe it'd be a better experience watching this film with other people instead of on my own; bad films are always better when you have someone to laugh at them with.
