I can’t believe I haven’t written a proper review for this yet—it’s always been one of my favorites. I first saw it when I was 10, on my birthday to be exact, which probably explains why it stuck with me.

I’m a sucker for found footage, and this one does it so well. It tells a genuinely beautiful story about a wild adventure to help an alien return home, while quietly emphasizing the importance of friendship. I recommend this to everyone I know.
