This may be one of the most underrated films I have ever gotten the pleasure of watching. Scrolling through Ethan Hawke's profile on Letterboxd to log this, I thought it would be towards the top, but this wasn't the case. I had to scroll a fair bit just to find it there, and as of now, 03/10/2024, only 3.8k have seen it (364 reviews, and is on 2.1k lists) (in terms or people who have logged it as watched on Letterboxd). I don't know if I would have ever watched this film had my father had not called me upstairs saying he had a movie that he thought I would like. Earlier this night my father saw a trailer for the upcoming Ghostbusters film, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and I said something about it being the sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife and

AHHHHHHHH. Hi. It's 10:45pm, it's only meant to be 09:46pm (it's just gone up a minute, but also my phone's clock is a minute fast sooo), but there's daylight savings, so we're a head an hour. This is severely going to mess up my sleep schedule and school. Not looking forward to that.
Great movie, my dad said it's one of his favorites and that he hasn't seen it in a while, so I'm glad I got to watch it with him :]
