Salesman Roy Knable spends all his free time watching television, to the exasperation of his wife, Helen. One day, TV salesman Spike convinces Roy to buy a satellite dish offering 666 channels. The new addition to Roy's home entertainment system sucks him and Helen into Hellvision, a realm run by Spike, who is an emissary of Satan. For 24 hours, the couple must survive devilish parodies of TV programs if they want to return to reality alive.

Somehow never looked at the genre and thought this would just be slight horror sci-fi but turned out to be very funny and so so creative, I was constantly excited to see what channel/reference would happen next 🤓

Delightful movie if you’re like me and your parents only let you watch tv shows from the 1900s.

I’d give anything to have been born looking just like John Ritter
For an early 90’s comedy this aged really well?! I’m not a huge fan of reboots but this would be actually really fun to see a modern take on especially how far tv has come since.
I can’t believe I’m saying this but Stay Tuned is even better than Fairly Oddparents Chanel Chasers and if you know me (you don’t) that’s high praise
I watched this on Tubi and honestly Tubi is the best streaming service (not including Dropout) since Netflix first started streaming. It has the vibe of watching random movies on cable during your divorce dad’s weekend in the best way possible
