unbearably mid. seminal poor cosplay film. i was expecting jean-marc to go through some sort of character development but nope. still a rich jackass. musical numbers were nice and marilyn killed it. what the fuck was the plot of that musical.
i picture that when milton berle showed up it was like avengers endgame in the 1960 theater

Controversial opinion, but this may be in my top 3 Marilyn films. This movie has my two favorite sides of her acting, comedy actress Marilyn and Musical actress Marilyn. While I will admit that her musical films tend to be some of her more popular ones, I feel like Marilyn as a comedy actress is so criminally underrated. I’d give this movie 5 starts, and only dock a point because the remainder of the cast isn’t nearly as good as she (like I would say for gentleman prefer blondes or how to marry a millionaire). At the end of the day this was such a good watch. Such a shame we didn’t get to see more of this side of her.
