Apart from being the source of a shot that has become iconic and popular among horror circles, this film had a general lack of direction. Especially in the very slow first act. Though there were a few bits i liked in the 2nd half, which was definitely above average, I was just too dragged down already to immerse myself.

Oh my god, this is probably one of the campiest and gayest horror movies I’ve seen in recent memory.  Leave it to Robert Englund to direct all of his performers to give gut-busting catty one liners.
