Josh, a struggling musician, wins a vintage recliner in an eBay auction. Since he lives in New York and the chair is in Atlanta, this poses a bit of a problem. He asks his girlfriend, Emily, to accompany him on the trip, and his hippie brother Rhett joins the pair along the way.

The Puffy Chair has been on my watchlist for a long time. A road trip movie with Mark Duplass in the lead was something I definitely dragged my feet towards but I wasted too much time! This is so unique and special. I learned from reading reviews here that there is a whole subgenre of movies like this and i can't wait.
I didn't expect there to be so much depth regarding relationships and feelings at the end. I've been inspired to stop asking my boyfriend "do you love me?" 9000 times a week for fun. Emily was fucking annoying- Overly inquisitive and argumentative. She was spitting on her breakfast lecturing Rhett about something that doesn't affect her at all?? Like girl. Get it together

Just used up all my luck for the year by being the last person they let into the theater to see this. So worth it. Duplass bros in person was surreal. Movie was hilarious. All is well.
