not sure i've seen a short that so badly wants (and needs!) to be a feature. there's some incredible, gorgeous stuff here, especially near the beginning, but i'd be lying if i said part of me wasn't feeling a little bit of "wait, that's it?!" once the climax hit

Phil Tippett never getting to make a feature length dinosaur film is one of the great injustices of the cinematic world. I like Disney's Dinosaur far more than most people I know, but I'd trade it in a heartbeat to see Tippett's version realized.
