Im very lucky and privileged to still have a decent films left of my current favourite director, though besides The White Ribbon most do not seem like his best works, but boy this is still incredible. From the synopsis I was expecting an Eden Lake/Funny Games esque film, but this felt a lot more like the Road. It’s a really disturbing watch, and there’s so many scenes that just want to make you squirm in your seat. Overall it’s a great film maybe just above Amour in Haneke terms but no where near Benny’s video.Haneke Ranked
