I am finally done with the entire seasons & films of Daria, now what?
I started to know the show Daria from a meme I came across on the internet. As I saw it, I immediately went to watch it — and today, I have finally finished the entire seasons & the two films. Daria helped me a lot as I am currently going through life — watching her journey till the end of this film made me sentimental in a way I couldn’t. Perhaps because I am teenager like Daria, who is somehow don’t understand why everyone in our surroundings are the certain way they are and questioning everything about the future. Daria with her sarcasm always gets me, I guess that’s why I continue watching the series— and it will be the biggest regret on me if I didn’t finished it. I wouldn’t learned Daria isn’t the unemotional, stoic, sarcastic that I thought in the beginning. Heck, I wouldn’t be in the position I am writing this in my room, deeply in thought of what the show has done to me — as a matter of fact, this show have shown me something that shows my deepest thoughts and feelings of how I felt from every characters I have seen in this show — well, I am heavy on Daria, Jane, and Jodie. These three characters have shaped something in me, which I am glad they do. Truly, I find this show very inspiring and if you are perhaps a teenager who experienced being alone all the time but have few friends, being called strange compared to your peers — I know you would deeply touched with Daria.
Going back to question, what should I do now that I am done with the entire seasons & films of Daria?
Well to that, I think I would continue to live my life normally whilst also take the lessons I have learned from this show.
Goodbye Daria.
Goodbye Jane.
Goodbye Trent.
Goodbye Jodie.
Goodbye Quinn.
Goodbye Helen & Jake Morgendorffer.
Goodbye Tom. (you are an ass, but i will give you the pass for treating Daria with all support and understanding … f you tho)
Goodbye Fashion Club.
Goodbye Sick Sad World.
Goodbye everyone.
Surely, I will remembered how this showed have impacted me in a positive way
