A group of 7 youngsters decide to spend a night at a reportedly haunted hotel to celebrate the farewell of one of them leaving for the USA. Despite people's warnings and other "signs" trying to ward them off from there, they enter the hotel, and then the truth dawns on them. Seven friends - Sam alias Samrat, Magesh, Achint, Neel, Neena, Sonia and Magi reunite after several years apart to celebrate the farewell of one of their friends, who is going abroad in order to pursue his career and fulfill his goals. The group soon learns about an abandoned hotel with strange stories around it. Much against warnings, they decide to spend a night at the hotel, and soon realize the mistake of their lives.

Horror Story
Horror Story (2013) used to freak me out so bad when I was a kid and even when I was in my early teens. I remember being scared to even go to the toilet after watching it. So I decided to rewatch it now and, honestly, nothing. Not a single scene scared me. Guess I’ve just grown out of it.

It wasn’t scary this time, but I did still like the eerie vibes it had and some of the music scores were actually nice. Back then, it felt insanely scary, but now it’s just… alright. For an Indian horror movie though, it’s still pretty decent, mainly because I haven’t seen many good ones lately. And to be fair, for its time, it did feel kinda close to a Hollywood-level horror movie.

I’d still say watch it at least once, especially if you haven’t seen it before. It’s not gonna terrify you, but it’s worth a shot.
