The second part of the millennium trilogy is not as good as dragon tattoo but i still love it all the same. I watched all the movies in the franchise so far and I really like all of them except spiders web. Lisbeth salander is also one of my favorite characters.
This time we follow Mikael as he investigates a sex trafficking ring and Lisbeth as her past catches up with her when she is framed for murder. The story isn't as good as the first but it kept me engaged all the way through. Lisbeth story is definitely the best part for me. I love the investigation aspect of these movies too.
The characters are all interesting and cool. I like the Lisbeth backstory. Mikael is great too but takes a bit of a backseat here. The portrayals by Noomi Repace is great as well as Micheal Nyqvist. The villians are good too.
The vibe is very tense too and it's an excellent adaptation of the book. So with a great cast, interesting story and of course lisbeth salander I loved the girl who played with fire. It a great time all around.
