High Fidelity is a romantic comedy that touches on the subject of romantic struggles, and the passion for music, which is really just hating on other people’s music tastes. This film is all about vibes and humor, and both John Cusack and young(er) Jack Black deliver. I had a fun time with this film, it was definitely up my alley as a vinyl record collector. I aspire to be a Chicago record store owner who wallows in my misery by listening to unreleased The Smiths tracks.
