As someone who is currently studying mental illness for the book that I am writing, the whole concept of this bipolar dad really intrigued me. You really got to see how it affects you in both positive an d negative ways and I thought MarkRuffalo’s acting was absolutely brilliant.
However, I was surprised with the other great emotional subplot about the Mother being an independent black woman In the 70s and the struggles she went through financially and emotionally 💔
