I was wondering throughout the whole film about what Rachel McAdams’s accent was supposed to be. I’m still confused.
Sighs This wasn’t good. I think that’s the reason why I barely remembered anything about this film. The only real good thing about it was that it had a good cast, but no one gave memorable performances. Well, maybe except for the Border Collie. He/She was adorable.
Nothing really happened in this film. We just follow these characters but they’re so poorly written that you don’t really care about them. And what was the point of the ending? Like, you pee on someone’s bed and everything’s ok the next morning? That made me more confused than Rachel’s accent. Wim Wenders could’ve made this film so much better (I still think from time to time about how amazing Paris, Texas is) than how it turned out.
Side note, but real talk. Would it be wrong if I say that I like James Franco, even though he’s done some not so good things? And I’m just saying I mainly like him as an actor, because he is/was a genuinely great actor. I don’t know if I’m comfortable admitting that he’s still one of my favorite actors, but probably not my top favorite. I dunno. Am I wrong for thinking this way?
