❝They say that vampires' hearts are cold and dead. Definitely dead. But I don't know. I think I still feel things inside it.❞

I'm a big fan of the WWDITS series, so I was excited to watch the first entry in the franchise, and although it was good, in my opinion the series is a lot better.
I love the mockumentary format and the editing: it always cracks me up to see photoshopped pictures to back up what the vampires are saying. The humour was ok, but the characters were difficult to get behind. They seemed a bit stiff and though I tried I couldn't really bond with them in the same way as I did with their series counterparts. The ending felt a little rushed as well with a lot of loose ends being hurriedly tied up with bland explanation.
Even though it's not completely my cup of tea, What We Do In The Shadows definitely brought a unique spin on a classic subgenre and generated some great shows.
