Rewatching this a few years older and wiser than my impressionable 18 yr old self. I found that when I first watched this I disliked it rather immensely due to the unromantic ending. Which quite frankly is a ridiculous statement from my younger self. Now, rewatching it, I truly find that the fact that she was able to turn her own life around after everything to be truly remarkable. For any young women out there watching this. It’s ok to experience life. To enjoy it. But please never do it at the detriment of your own dreams.
