“diamonds.. you and me harry, diamonds.”
may i just say the soundtrack and score for this movie was incredible, i love the end credits title as it fits so perfectly with the theme of the movie, tangerine dream did an amazing job.
right, here we go with the actors. i don’t care what anyone says but anthony edwards was fucking amazing as harry. he doesn’t receive the credit he deserves, he is truly one of the most criminally underrated actors and deserves a star on the hollywood walk of fame rather than some that have one. the chemistry between edwards and winningham was outstanding and truly just beautiful, this mirrors now since they both look perfect together as husband and wife in real life too.
for the most part, this was action packed and also included its comedic moments but i was all for it. the whole concept of harry finding out about nuclear war over the phone in a random cafe’s phone box made me giggle. i could also appreciate the seriousness in anthony edwards’ demeanour which made his performance all the more impressive.
(thank you thomas for making me watch this, i will be forever grateful x)
