“the moment between life and death”
one of the most nerve racking, chilling, and disturbing pieces of media ive ever seen for multiple reasons. the film is simple, its a single shot panoramic that slowly develops, building tension and anticipation until it provides an answer, its grim climax. on the surface it seems simple, but my perspective is anything but simple and surface level.
people will witness a horror and just go on with their day. be it fear, desensitization, or just plain apathy, mankind’s ability to move on from witnessing the evils of the world is pure insanity, and it’s arguably more common now than ever. whether its on the news, on social media, or even in real life, inaction seems to be nearly endemic at this point. if im being honest, its absolutely terrifying.
