An unapologetic, blood-soaked anthem of urban nihilism that trades the psychological weight of the original for pure, unadulterated street-warfare insanity. michael winner abandons all restraint, transforming a decaying new york apartment block into a sun-bleached kill zone where charles bronson functions as a grim, silent reaper of the concrete jungle.
Finally finished this. found a working torrent. loved the other half of the film. Very energetic and gritty.
It's a gloriously violent descent into a world where the law is irrelevant and the only thing that matters is who has the biggest gun and the coldest stare.

This is the peak of big dumb Cannon action films.
This is so ridiculous, but it knows it is, it embraces it. It knew it was bonkers and just went with it.

So insane and over the top. Bronson goes from a 'contentious objector' who pukes when he first kills a mugger in the first one to point blank blowing up the cartoon gang leader with an RPG in 3. Amazing.
Also, Jimmy Page was off of one when he did this score. Insane.
