since i'm visiting the monroeville mall in literally less than 48 hours (!) might as well watch something based on night. basically the first movie but less seasonal, less sexy goth chicks dancing naked in cemeteries, and a less subversive ending like in the original. dana ashbrook did a lot of weird horror movies in the '80s huh? has that specific brand of late '80s feminism (like with night of the comet) where a hyper-feminine main girl is really good with guns randomly. not necessarily bad, just an interesting pattern. was not expecting to see a 10 year old tuck a revolver into his waistband. #notmytarman
