God's Not Dead
initially, this movie was supposed to be background noise to help me study, but it ended up being so bad that i was actually invested in it

I’m not even gonna act surprised because i knew what i was getting into but fuck did it exceed all of my expectations
the movie is so bad it actually infuriated me

pure propaganda that just portrays christians as kind and intelligent people whereas every other person is stupid or evil

don’t even get me started on the philosophy part of the movie : “god is dead” being misused and so badly represented actually made me so mad as someone who isn’t even that knowledgeable in the topic of philosophy

THE ENDING?? HELLO????? so corny and so fucking cruel LMAOO

anyway this might be the worst movie i’ve ever watched

God's Not Dead
This is the only film that disproves my conviction that all films are inherently artistic.

I don’t even know where to start with this film. The actings bad, the music sounds like it was pulled off YouTube, and it feels like such a generic and boring film that it was a slog to get through. This film was also a great way to dive into deeper thought on religion and god with critiques and actual commentary that could mean something, but no, instead they crumbled under their biases and created a film that’s designed to be a pat on the back to Christians. It feels like the only thing they want to critique is anyone that doesn’t agree with them, and even then the “atheist professor” isn’t even atheist, he ends up being someone who just hates god because they can’t process the fact people disagree with them and have to make it where the beliefs are only out of spite and not truth. It’s such a complicated topic mushed into a generic plot that could only ever be good to 40 year old men who constantly say “the worlds gone to shit” but can’t provide any reason other than the libs. Overall this film sucked and it’s an absolute embarrassment not just to film, but to social commentary, Christianity, and America as a whole and has absolutely no redeeming quality’s.
