this movie fucks hard. is it just dumb fun? of course, but it is incredibly fun to watch. and the Moby needledrop goes hard everytime.
in 2007 a film depicting CIA assassinating a Guardian reporter must have been a shocking thing to do. in our beatiful year of 2026 my reaction was “yeah sure, that could happen today”. it kinda feels like this movie was co-written by the CIA trying to improve its imagine and saying, look a couple of good guys work for us too.
