I’m so happy Alexei Toliopoulos championed this so I could witness the greatest use of the word “Dickhead” in film.

i think the stage adaptation is so much better because i feel like they just threw away johns death in the movie when in the play its so significant and IT HURTS TO WATCH BECAUSE ITS SO SAD.
although i do love how we see josies relationship with her family grows and how she accepts her heritage and culture. the last 20 minutes are so cute tho when shes having fun at school and with her boyfriend ☹️☹️
i will say though josie crying into jacobs arms in the movie has me sobbing because he genuinely loves her sm JUST AH
also jacobs so fine and ill stand by that
