After watching this I can say I'm pretty interested in checking out the director's more acclaimed films
Apparently this is regarded as his worst one which is pretty intriguing since this is still a very expertly crafted film, the cinematography is absolutely beautiful, there's plenty of wide shots and everything is presented with a lot of thoughtful patience, the performances are pretty great, the music is fantastic, and in terms of film making presentation this movie is pretty phenomenal. However the reason I found myself not loving this film is that the story isn't very gripping, I was waiting for the movie to really hook me in but I never fully felt it and in return it feels incredibly slow.
From what I heard after watching the film, I probably should've watched hia other films in order to get more acquainted with his style. Although it feels slow at times I still enjoyed the movie and didn't regret seeing it.
