After seeing the cruel “Silenced” he decides to explore more of the director's cinematography and the following film “Miss Ganny” although it has a totally different approach and proposal, does not disappoint!
Miss Granny is another one of those films where a character becomes young again, like “17 Again”, although it involves a much greater emotional burden when addressing themes such as ageism and the aging of women.
It's not a great film, but it's a mix of entertaining comedy with an emotional charge that, although it doesn't stand out at all like the director's previous film, is not at all a bad watch!
I would like to see the director following other directions more focused on activist and dramatic cinema because I emphasize again that this work has no comparison whatsoever with the previous one and I am in doubt as to whether the director is really very good or if it was just the right theme, the right time and the right person to visually portray such a catastrophe…
