She flies to Havana to sort things out on the beach and in the cabarets. She sends him a ticket, but harbors no illusions that He will join her in this Caribbean melting pot.

I thought i had cast aside Sally potter but I’m glad I ended my filmography run on this. The subtlety of the metre lulls you into a sense of comfort until it is weaponised in the pivotal scenes. Thank god it’s not all downhill following Orlando.
