Ein sehr unangenehmes, aber interessantes Stück Kino – gerade weil alles auf realen Ereignissen beruht. Das Konzept der Vernichtungslager bleibt unbegreiflich und wird es wohl auch immer bleiben.
Wenn es um PoW-Filme geht, sehe ich McQueen oder Guinness beim Ausbrechen allerdings lieber zu als Hauer…. vielleicht, weil diese als Abenteuerfilme getarnten Beispiele einen „unschuldigeren“ Charakter haben.

Had to watch for my English class. Not a bad movie, but it just didn’t keep me super interested. The message and themes were important but overall it’s not a super groundbreaking movie. Should’ve had an end credit scene smh.
