Unfortunately I'm starting to think that "Inside" might be the only good film that Julien Maury & Alexandre Bustillo have created cause what the heck was this. A lot of the execution of the scenes felt so awkward & incompetent for no reason and there's a lot of inconsistent moments whether it be the strength of the mutated child Klarence being able to break limbs easily to then suddenly hesitating/struggling with the mother or the stupid decisions of the characters. For all it's flaws though there are some nice creepy scenes and gnarly gore like I loved how eerie it was when you first get a good look at Klarence in the baby’s room and I also liked the shocking opening sequence but all of it goes to waste when the movie becomes total nonsense with how they continue the plot and the logic here was completely questionable.

Underrated french extremity gem. not as grim as other movies in the subgenre but highly worth watching. Wish it was way longer though
