When ambitious young real estate agent Leigh is asked to sell a house with a checkered past, she crosses paths with a disturbed girl whom she learns is the runaway daughter of the couple selling the property. Once again, Nicholas McCarthy gives me something so promising yet fails to live up to its premise. At the Devil's Door is legitimately creepy and very atmospheric but what is that final act even? It's like he just gave up completely and said 'welp here-a goes nuttin'. It could've been so good damn
