watched this mostly for anna may wong and what a disappointment that was. i should have guessed. anyway, this is a pretty good movie but unfortunately looses a lot of steem in the second act where the noir elements largely get replaced with a boring small town romance. the last act does pick up the pace a little. hellen walker is a huge plus but sadly doesn’t make any appearances for a pretty big portion of the movie.
