"I love you." Everyone is losing something, and the choice to live again, is the choice to help.

"I want to fight you." Stop being the victim of your malaise, start being its opponent.

Stop asking "Why me?" and realize that "Me" is actually "Us."

Letting depression run its course for a bit then parrying it with Throw Down before it gets too bad, an ironically gentle movie about platonic love, I appreciate my wonderful friends more and more on every re-watch. A reminder of why we learned to fight in the first place.

I feel like I got the character moments, but the story was very much lost on me. I still have no idea who all these people were and what their goals were (other than the guy who wanted to fight everybody, but like, what was his job? Why was he there?). There were some cool visuals and even though the fight choreography wasn't the best, it was at least fun to watch. I just wish the story was more clear; we bounced all over the place and I really don't know where we went.
