Although it may not be perfect, I love this film for what it is. I never screamed so many times while watching any horror movie. This movie kept me on my toes, and such a great backstory with this urban legend. This is the first time I have seen a Japanese horror film, and I can't imagine going outside in broad daylight after seeing this movie. Something about the Slit-Mouthed Woman has apparently different variations of this vengeful spirit. A woman who goes out taking kids in broad daylight, just to look like her. Crazy thing is, before she became this urban legend, she was a cute woman, but all it took was blue contacts, a brown jacket, and a cut-open mouth, quite the tall woman that is intimidating enough to scare the hell out of me. "AM I PRETTY"? The ominous music with the line just scares the hell out of me. I feel like I just got the wind knocked out of me afterwards. Be wary if you watch this. Be prepared, you shall not regret it
