With “Children of the Corn: Revelation” the series arrived in the new millennium and the losing streak continues.
I don’t even think this is the worst film in the series, but it’s arguably the most forgettable. It’s an empty, ugly and immensely boring film. The screenplay is an uneventful slog that doesn’t have one decent idea. The characters are hollow, the sets cheap and the visuals worse than ever before.
This is a film without a single highlight. Nothing of value happens in this.

The corn kids are ghosts and I think that’s bogus. Corn is blood. No bugs. Sickles are brandished and used offscreen. It’s not weird enough but it’s short.
