This had the potential to become this extremely fun slasher. It had the cheerful circus music blended with the fearful score to help create this disturbing yet playful aesthetic throughout. The framing for the clowns had this beautiful atmosphere and it was very cool to see. But honestly this needed to live up to the R rating, it felt like a PG-13 movie.
The kills weren’t really that violent or exciting to watch, it mainly tried to build suspense but suspense alone couldn’t help this film. I was doing fine with the generic stupidly written decisions but it got very annoying and repetitive once I reached the third act. This had a lot going for it but it just falls short at many occasions.
