Ju-on: The Beginning of the End
This one sort of belongs in the same dollar bin as White & Black Ghost; great concepts all around but just hopelessly tired execution. It’s lacking the dedicated performances & ominous nature the originals sported. In the end feeling like a cheaper version of an already cheap film with very few highlight moments.

Extremely reminiscent of many American horror remakes/reboots that try to update successful franchises by punching in more “scares” and reinventing the backstory (why is this necessary?).

Kind of fun to see my Terrace House girl Reina Triendl, though.
