I was excited to watch this. A tale of female friendship and patriarchal hardship in my favorite city?!? Fuck yeah! I can fuck with some porn! You can quote me on that shit. 

The thing is that these women barely interact with each other, and the vast majority of the sex scenes are just them getting raped. I…. Hey, maybe I’m the prude here, but this wasn’t a fun watch, outside of spending time in my favorite city. To be clear, these scenes are not supposed to be erotic and I’m not making some moral judgment. I just would’ve liked some time with the gorls, instead of three largely disconnected stories about these women being exploited without a real emotional hook.
