I think this is the best Conjuring movie so far. The jumpscares really got me, and the story is told so well. The cast is perfect, and the movie perfectly tells the true story. I liked the constant tense situations that were happening throughout the movie, this one really kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I definitely liked this, it really shows why "The Conjuring" is a strong horror franchise.

As I've said before, I adore the Conjuring universe, and this film is a great sequel to the one that started it all. Though the pacing is a bit off, and the ending was a little anticlimactic, I love Valak as a villain; Bonnie Aarons is effortlessly sinister-looking, with her menacing stare mixed with the incredible VFX. I have half a mind to commission a portrait of Valak like the one Ed painted, but I don't want to become possessed. Always an awesome watch.

I love this movie so much. It may not be as scary as the first one but that doesn't mean much because these are some of the scariest movies. It also has a slow start but it's worth it for this movie's climax. Enough with the negatives. The chemistry between Lorraine and Ed is better than ever and generally the character interactions are really good. It has some heartwarming scenes that really add something special that the previous movie didn't have. Also this movie has some of the most iconic monsters in modern cinema like the nun and the crookedman.
