Incredibles 2 isn't as good as the first film, but I still really like it. For one, the characters (especially the Incredible family) have a lot more personality, which makes them some of them simultaneously more and less likeable than before, but overall I don't mind those changes. The animation is a lot more slick, which is to be expected since this was released fourteen years after the first one, and I like the softer, more expressive animation used for this film. In terms of plot, the film is a little lacking in comparison to its predecessor, and the difference in antagonists is like night and day; Evelyn is fine, but Syndrome was such a charasmatic and comedic villain, and she unfortunately doesn't come anywhere close to being as good. On the whole, though, a great sequel, and I can't wait to see where the third film takes the Incredibles.
