❝I want to walk into the sea and never come back. I want the tide to take me out of me and give me someone else. Maybe for a half hour or so. That would be good, wouldn't it, Pig?❞

I love me some Cillian Murphy, but I haven't felt as uncomfortable as I was watching this for a long time. The plot is kinda interesting, but the characters need to be developed so much more, because what the film ended up with was a meek, uninspiring girl and a literal psychopath (aka Cillian) for the main characters. Even though the run-time was only an hour and a half, it felt like years had passed before the credits started rolling. On the plus side, though, I recognised Tara Lynne O'Neill, who plays Mary in one of my favourite series of all-time, Derry Girls. So, overall, I wouldn't recommend watching this unless you're a huge Cillian fan, because I guarantee you'll experience a mix of boredom and repulsion.
