could’ve been a Dollars Trilogy Eastwood character in New York hunting down a criminal, ends up feeling like a pilot for a tv show (and what do you know, the script started out as just that). so much of this is fish out of water cowboy in New York stuff which can be fun but it’s not all that fun here for whatever reason. he shows up to get the criminal and they’re like “oh yeah you can’t get him yet” so there’s about 20-25 minutes of him hanging out but it’s dull! they don’t even let the man shoot anyone in this!!! like I said, because of the stretched thin plot and little violence (but what is here is admittedly bloody, also there’s some nudity) this feels like an overlong tv pilot. pretty cool motorcycle chase at the end though!
