❝You know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna drive myself to the police station and I'm gonna turn myself in so they can lock me up right there, 'cause I'd rather be there than sitting here with you.❞

Since it's Benicio del Toro's birthday, I decided to only watch films from his body of work today, and I started with Excess Baggage. And while he looked absolutely scrumptious, the plot was a little too harebrained for me to follow. The romance also went from zero to a hundred very quickly, and to me it felt like Emily and Vincent didn't spend enough time together to warrant falling in love. However, I thought that the cast overall gave great performances, especially Benicio and Christopher Walken, and the ending was pretty cute. All in all, I wouldn't say it's my favourite rom-com, but it was worth watching just for Benicio rocking the long, wavy brown hair.
