Normally when a character walks in on two characters engaged in an apparent sexual act, when they say “it’s not what it looks like,” it’s something completely innocent. It’s not normally something far worse!
This movie starts strong and has genuinely funny moments, but careens off a Cliff by the middle and just never recovers. One of the titular trio is just a disaster of a character that ruins nearly every scene in some way. Still it’s a notable step up in directorial competence from Park’s first film so here’s hoping his third is a much bigger leap.
