the fight scenes are the saving grace of this movie—I can’t lie, I let my expectations get too high based off letterboxd ratings and ended up pretty disappointed. Camera cuts were painful at times, and the cinematography is overly simplistic for a movie centered around combat. The plot is mid, and clearly shoved in there for the sole purpose of Segwaying between fight scenes. (also, the protagonist changes out of nowhere for the last half an hour, what was that)
