god this movie hit so deeply that i could spend days talking about it . lexis character was possibly one of the best depictions of an ED ive seen on film yet. i appreciated how they didn’t romanticize the effects of anorexia/bullimia and i felt the characters emotions so strongly as if they were my own. the restricting, calorie counting, purging, constant weighing. what made this film special was it didn’t show triggering body checks like say to the bone (2017). this film made my heartbreak so many times because of how much i see myself in lexi.
