Maybe the coolest idea for film ever. An incredible perspective of how this genius sees the world, from his empathy, to his witness role to his eventual turn to nature, about more than just historical events, it’s about the human stories behind them. Obviously the imagery is fucking gorgeous but I don’t think the film interrogates the man deep enough, hovers in admiration of salgados work rather than examining it. More of a tribute than what is set out to be.
