I already knew the story about the birmingham church burning because denise mcnair was my english sophomore teacher aunt. Sadly he never got to meet her while she was alive.But as he was telling me the story, I could tell this deeply affected him saying that he never got to meet his aunt due to racism. Hearing the story forever radicalized me.Because no child should die because of the color of their skin. And what hurts me more.Is that for thirty seven years.It was an unsolved case.When literally everyone knew that bob chambliss did it. It's a very difficult watch.But everyone should see this beautiful documentary should have won that damn oscar.
