Took too long to get interesting and the way they approached the fear & dread thing felt very surface level and dull. I feel like the whole psycho making you face your fear thing as a premise was already flawed cause ofcourse you're just physically torturing people in different fonts so it's obvious that they're gonna be severely affected by it no? The main characters were also stupid, the trauma/fear angle was handled in the most cliche way possible but I do have to commend the movie a little bit for sticking true to being mean spirited & daring I guess but the build up and everything leading to the climax itself was laughable—who would've thought that a traumatized psycho having a gun could get the upper hand huh?
