The final installment of the Mick Travis Trilogy. Imagine if hospitals were privatized. Imagine that in order to be treated in this hospital, you must be extremely wealthy. Now imagine that since they are privatized, they control staff income, and have it so low, there’s a huge strike outside. FINALLY imagine Luke Skywalker rolling and smoking a joint while Laughing watching chicken nuggets being made. This movie is hilariously dark, and touches on the struggles of class, faulting both sides. It exposes the self interest of man over the mutual interest in mankind. Malcolm McDowell has a relatively small part in this one compared to the other movies, but it is a more than fair send off to his character, ending the trilogy of Mick Travis. (Other movies include If... and O Lucky Man.)
Spoiler:It’s shocking that they predicted the internet at the end of this movie. The scientist was completely right about a way to democratize information and all the wonders this could do.
